What is the Brazilian Keratin Treatment? and will it dry out or damage the hair?

The Brazilian Keratin Straightening Treatment is a wonderful treatment offered today. It is not a chemical and does not damage or dry out your hair, in-fact it does the opposite. This treatment adds lost protein back into your hair, making your hair more manageable and is actually good for your hair! You can actually get color or highlights AND the Keratin straightener in the same day! The Keratin treatment is not designed to give you pin straight hair like the Japanese straightening (because it contains no harsh chemicals). While helping to relax the curl, the straightening process focuses more on managing the unruly frizz. For most people with that kinky curl, or even just frizzy hair, this IS the answer to your hair nightmares!

Q: How far in advance do you have to schedule a hair
appointment?

A: To be guaranteed an appointment it is always good to call ahead (even if your looking for an appointment for that same day). We especially encourage you to call in advance if you only want one particular hair stylist. However we do welcome walk in's and do everything in our power to get you on the schedule as soon as possible.

Q: I understand that you have different hair products, but i
like using one brand of hair-product because my hair feels better and it
doesnt fall as much. Am i allowed to bring the brand i use and will you
use it?

A: You can most certainly bring your own styling products or shampoo/ conditioners. However we do not use outside color-lines from the drug stores, if u prefer one brand of color to another (if its a professional product) sometimes we can order. We use the redken color-line in our shop.

Q: I understand that you have chair relaxers but do i have to
pay for that as well as the haircut?

A:We have massaging shampoo chairs that lightly massage your back to relax you as you get your hair washed. The massaging shampoo chairs and the hair washing is complimentary to your visit.
